Violent Crimes

The Crime in the United States Report, released by the FBI each year, recently ranked Nevada second in the nation for the number of violent crimes. Many of those crimes are concentrated in the greater Las Vegas Metropolitan area.

According to the report, there were more than 600 crimes for every 100,000 people in the state. Many argue the numbers are misleading because the report does not take into consideration the number of tourist in each state.
